Dominic Cummings should go. Letter to my MP 27.05.20

Dear Mrs Murray

Recently various Conservative MPs have been calling on us to ‘move on’ from the fact that Dominic Cummings broke the Lockdown and Isolation rules.

In other words, we are being asked to be silent about his behaviour and its consequences.

The problem is, that silence is complicit and in this case complicit in causing future unnecessary deaths. This will happen as a result of his behaviour encouraging people to disregard current safety protocols and any future lockdown or isolation procedures.

In addition, his behaviour has been an insult to each and every one of us who have sacrificed in order to uphold the rules for the greater good. It is clearly an insult to all those who have lost their lives so far.

So, I will not be silent and I am asking you as my representative in Parliament to not be silent also.

Please join the call for Dominic Cummings to resign out of respect for those who have died and those who worked so hard to make Lockdown work.

Please join the call for him to resign in order to secure safety measures and save lives.

Yours sincerely

Jane Stevenson
